Know a Service- and Eco-Minded Company?
Midwesterners may be counting the days until warmer weather, but fall will be here before you know it. That’s when the Chicago Wilderness Day of Service will take place, helping to restore and protect natural areas in the region. Planning is underway now for the September 27th event.
The Day of Service is a project of the Chicago Wilderness Corporate Council. Aiming to grow the event’s impact, the council is looking for additional companies to sponsor a site, which includes providing refreshments for hungry, hard-working volunteers.
Last year’s Day of Service drew more than 400 volunteers at 23 sites.
