Clarke is a global environmental products and services company whose mission is to make communities around the world more livable and safe. It delivers environmentally responsible mosquito control and aquatic services. Clarke has purposefully sought better processes and products to reduce its impact on the Earth.

Goals

• Develop a site master plan that addresses stormwater runoff reduction, increases landscape biodiversity, promotes opportunities for staff to interact with garden spaces and educates adjacent property owners about sustainable land management

• Prepare and implement a landscape restoration plan that lessens Clarke’s environmental impact

• Create an outdoor patio garden that complements the facility’s new kitchen/social interior space

Sample Results

• 1 ½ acres of turf transformed into native prairie landscape

• Raised beds and compost gardens for food production by staff

• A fruit-tree orchard, for use by staff and neighboring companies
