Client Profile

St. Francis High School is a private Roman Catholic school that supports grades 9-12 and maintains an active enrollment of over 700 coed students. It strives to further spiritual, academic and social excellence in students by helping them to develop the ability to learn, communicate and act as responsible citizens in their communities


Goals
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school personnel to create additional outdoor spaces and curriculum enhancements
  • Incorporate native plants into the school grounds to increase biodiversity

Sample Results

  • A reading garden adjacent to the school’s Learning Center where students interact with the outdoors
  • A naturalized detention pond and assistance for school staff in understanding stewardship responsibilities
  • A demonstration green roof, planted by students
