Sarah is a consultant to the Natural Resources & Water Quality Division of the Chicago Department of Environment, coordinating special projects, outreach and policy efforts regarding water resources, biodiversity and sustainable landscapes. She has managed a variety of Department of Environment initiatives, including the Rain Barrel program, the Bird Agenda, the Aquatic Invasive Species Ordinance, the Ring-Billed Gull Management Program for Beach Health and more.

She also manages all of WRD’s contract work for the Chicago Department of Environment’s Natural Resources and Water Quality Division.

Sarah holds a B.A. in Environmental Studies, with a concentration in Sociology/Anthropology, from Denison University, where she worked for the Environmental Studies Program. She has also served on staff of Friends of the Chicago River.
