Donna is a consultant to the Chicago Department of Environment, developing public outreach campaigns and managing special projects for a variety of initiatives, including the Blue Cart Recycling Program and the Chicago Climate Action Plan. One focus is a pilot program that aims to build capacity within community-based organizations and link them together to better communicate with residents about utility assistance and energy efficiency programs.

Donna has more than 10 years’ experience in communications, with a background in print production and graphic design.

She earned an M.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies from DePaul University, where she combined a love for communications with interests in public service administration and urban planning, and a B.S. in Occupational Therapy from the University of Illinois-Chicago.
