Geoff founded WRD in 1997 to connect people with nature, and provides the firm’s ongoing vision. Well-versed in sustainable development, he plays leadership and liaison roles on interdisciplinary design and development teams.
With 30 years of experience in program and project management, Geoff has led a variety of large-scale environmental projects, job training programs, and community-engagement initiatives focused on environmental best practices -- consistently completing them on time and on budget.
His cost consciousness and understanding of what constitutes feasible design and sustainable results drive WRD’s client-centered services.
Believing that progress toward lasting ecological stewardship begins with children, Geoff is also executive director of Prairie Crossing Charter School, an environmentally centered public school in Grayslake, IL. He previously served as Chair of the school’s Board of Directors.
