Geoff Deigan

Geoff is the lead on all WRD Environmental projects. He has more than 20 years of construction management experience, nearly ten of which were with the remediation arm of Roy F. Weston Inc., an international environmental engineering firm. There he oversaw a wide variety of large-scale environmental projects, consistently completing them on time and on budget.

His cost consciousness and understanding of what constitutes feasible design are the foundation of WRD’s client services. This, coupled with his regulatory experience, including interactions with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, several state EPAs and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, enables WRD to successfully manage everything from wetland and stormwater initiatives to brownfield redevelopment.

After his tenure in environmental remediation, Geoff sought to become more involved in preventing environmental damage. He founded WRD Environmental in 1997 to create and foster environmentally responsible landscapes. His focus grew out of his appreciation for the diverse greening opportunities throughout the Chicago metro area – and for the unique challenges of each site. Sustainability continues to be at the core of WRD's mission.
